Our Vision

We seek a world of hope and social justice, where poverty has been overcome and all people live in dignity and security.

Our Mission

Glimpse of Hope works across the country to save lives, defeat poverty, and achieve social justice. We focus on mitigating poverty among all the inhabitants of Lebanon through various means that include educational projects, raising awareness, and giving aid.

Our Causes

In-Kind Assistance

We deliver various items to those who need them most. These include food parcels, hygiene kits, winter aid (heaters, diesel, and clothes), tent repairs, and cash that are delivered monthly.

Education

We provide supplies to schools and private tutoring centers necessary to perform effective learning in classrooms where students come from various backgrounds. We also work on raising awareness of the importance of education, especially for the less fortunate.

Sustainable Projects

We launch and support agricultural projects that provide food and income for those who care for them.

Medical

We sponsor surgeries for individuals whose financial situation doesn’t allow them to perform operations that are crucial for their health. We also provide some medical supplies for clinics and hospitals

Beneficiaries

We reach the beneficiaries in a three step process. First, our team scopes out those who need help and assesses their living situation, deciding whether they are eligible for help.
We are regularly adding new people to the list of those who get help because of the consistent work of our team. Second comes the actual delivery of help, which depends on the situation and type of aid.
We sometimes go to the houses of people and let them know we’re here to help, and other times we call them and agree on a place where a group of people can receive the help together in a distribution . Lastly, after our help reaches the people who need it, we keep on performing check ups on those we help, reviewing their situation and coming up with ways we can better it further. Please note that we never access a distribution point or a house without the proper needed authorization of access, whether that be from the general security, national security, military, or asking for the permission of families to enter into their households.
